Our story began in the early 1970s with Stephen Pigott, Sr., in the driver’s seat.
Back then, we were simply a family with a desire to provide our communities with a convenience and earn a living. We have a rich family heritage of entrepreneurship paired with devotion & hard work. Early on, it appeared in simple ways, like offering contract services to bail hay for local land owners and farmers, all the while, keeping our eyes open and focused on business opportunities, regardless of the industry.
As business opportunities presented themselves, we performed our due diligence and analyzed the risk. Over time, these opportunities led us into the restaurant industry, hospitality industry, and healthcare industry. During these endeavors, we have maintained a passion and primary focus on the petroleum industry.
Our meager beginnings were fueled by relationships with good people and our desire to serve. This purpose has remained consistent through generational leadership transitions. Today, although industry diversity has benefited us greatly, we have tuned our focus to the petroleum & convenience industries.
